By studying a plant as a living organism, I created a seamless transition from a flower to a plant cell illustrating its life cycle. In the video, I take the audience on an engaging journey inside the flower and illustrate the components of a plant cell.
The work uses the sound of plant electric waves recorded on a bio-sonification device PlantWave and later transformed into music.
Research & Process
Fascinated by the beauty of nature, I closely examined the unique structure of flowers, leaves, stems, petals and cells, focusing on textures, colours and synthesis of the elements that forms a living plant.
